Mtonjaneni Lodge is a 3 Star graded country-style lodge situated amongst the majestic hills next to Dingaan’s Spring on the R34/R66, overlooking the Emakhosini Valley of the Kings which is on Route 66 of the Zululand Heritage Route.
Mtonjaneni is located on Farm Mtonjaneni, halfway between Melmoth 21 km and Ulundi 24 km and 45 km from Nkandla. Mtonjaneni Lodge was established in 1997 on the working farm by Nico and Rina Harris and the area is rich in history, featuring an Anglo-zulu Museum on the premises.
Mtonjaneni Lodge offers 19 rustic Log Cabin En-suite Rooms, sleeping up to 38 guests in total. Five of the rooms contain double beds and 14 contain twin beds. The lodge offers conference facilities, a la carte restaurant, fully licensed bar, and a craft shop. Popular weddings venues. Activities on arrangement are ferocity farming tours, historical tours, and spit braais.
Family friendly, the lodge also offers swimming pool, pool table, jungle gym, farm animal view and touch farm.
