Chase Guest House is an inviting place to stay, whether you are looking for a relaxing family farm stay, a business stopover, a birding or sporting week-end, or just a place to chill and enjoy Nature.
The traditional sugar farm homestead is set in a beautiful garden bordering Eshowe, offering four-star country hospitality and personal service. Accommodation comprises two spacious double Garden Cottages or a three-bedroomed Farm Cottage, ideal for families or groups. Self-catering or bed-and-breakfast is available.
Activities include swimming, tennis, cycling, a trampoline and walks through the indigenous forests and farm lands. The extensive garden is a birders’ paradise, with 102 species being spotted in the garden and round the farm. Fishing is available at the farm dam, using own rods and gear. Tours of the Proteas, banana-packhouse and sugar-farm are available at a small fee, booked in advance, time permitting.
Chase Guest House is near the Dlinza Forest Aerial Boardwalk, Fort Nongqayi Museum Village with the Zululand Historical Museum, Vukani Zulu Cultural Museum, KZN Papermakers and Eshowe Butterfly Dome. Picnic/ Birders breakfasts can be ordered in advance for early birders.
We are one and a quarter hours from King Shaka Airport and within easy distance of Game Reserves (one-and-a half hours’ from iMfolozi), beaches (45 minutes from Zinkwazi and 35 from Mthunzini) and battlefields. Guides can be arranged in advance.
