    Stay A While…

Our accommodation has been graded as AA Highly Recommended and we can sleep up to 70 guests on the estate.

Our Manor House has five oversized luxury en-suite bedrooms, all exquisitely themed for guests to enjoy the unique character of each. There is the Victorian suite, the Chinese suite, the Egyptian suite, the Indian suite and the Bridal suite (the ultimate in romantic relaxation).

Our Guest House is surrounded by beautiful gardens with a gazebo and ornamental fountain, dams and forests. Set in the gardens are a further 23 en-suite garden rooms. These may be more suitable for larger groups or family getaways, being located a little further from the Manor.

    Manor House Accommodation

Our most popular accommodation is located within the Manor House itself. Each suite is exquisitely decorated with a different cultural theme. All the rooms in the Manor House are non smoking, have DSTV, feather duvets on the beds, and tea and coffee making facilities.

    The Bridal Suite

The Bridal Suite is a spacious east-facing fairytale room, most suitable for a bridal couple. The huge romantic 4-poster bed is draped in white fabric giving it a whimsical feel. The large windows overlook the gardens and dam. Other comfortable pieces of furniture adorn this elegant en-suite room.

    The Indian Suite

The Old Indian Colonial days are very apparent in this opulent suite. Draped with Indian wall hangings, elaborately carved screens and ancient artefacts, this en-suite room oozes Oriental charm.

    The Victorian Suite

The large Victorian Suite is also east- facing, elegant and in keeping with the theme of the main house. Front facing with large sash windows, it overlooks the garden and dam. A huge king-sized 4-poster bed takes centre stage amongst all the other antique furniture.

    The Egyptian Suite

In the Egyptian suite, a large 4-poster bed adorns the middle of the room, which has an abundance of Egyptian artefacts, and an Egyptian wall hanging which gives the room an authentic feel.

    The Chinese Suite

Ancient China beckons you to this luxurious suite with a large en-suite bathroom with a cast iron ball and claw bath and shower. Many pieces of furniture from China adorn this room and the whole atmosphere gives that feel of the east.

    En-suite Garden Rooms

We have 23 en-suite garden rooms which are tastefully decorated in neutral earthy colours and overlook a large tranquil pasture (you may spot some dairy cows in the distance!) All the rooms have bathrooms, and the beds have feather duvets. The french doors open onto a large, cool, tiled verandah making it the ideal accommodation for families or conference groups.

The drawing room is tastefully decorated and you can soothe away tensions as you relax in the calm ambience or enjoy a crackling log fire on winter days. Every meal feels like an occasion, when served in the Calderwood Hall dining room. It is a spacious, elegant room with five metre high steel pressed ceilings, built in dresser, huge fireplace, exquisite mural, yellowwood floors and large sash windows which overlook the gardens. Our inviting Jardine Function Centre is designed as both a wedding venue and a conference centre. It seats up to 250 guests comfortably whilst still allowing for a dance floor. The mock Victorian sash windows, tastefully decorated walls, a Victorian Fireplace and three large oversized shabby-chic styled chandeliers add to the overall ambience of the room. Two large five metre stack-back doors lead onto a walkway alongside the koi pond. Another set of stack-back doors lead off the venue onto a large outdoor verandah area overlooking the beautiful view of the mountains and surrounding forests. It is ideal for special occasions with its large draped chandeliered function room with our pretty and tranquil thatched stained glass chapel is in close proximity.

Situated in the front garden, amongst the trees overlooking the dam, is our Pavilion. The large sliding doors opening the verandah, fire pit and a lovely braai facility give the room an indoor / outdoor feel designed to host guests during Cocktail Hour or as an alternative to the chapel should the weather be inclement for a garden ceremony.
