The Ihawu (shield) originated from the Zulu tribe, which was used in battles for protection against the attack of their enemies. It is part of a rich Zulu culture & heritage. The Ihawu guest house offers an experience of the Traditional Local Culture & Flavour of KwaZulu-Natal; where waking up completely rested to the sound of chirping birds and a breeze is a regular experience.
