General

Situated just outside Newcastle on a beautiful game farm, the Grey Goose Game Lodge is an oasis from the day to day run around. The farm boasts over 700 head of game including Zebra, Springbok, Black Wildebees, Red Hartebees, Blesbuck and Ostriches. The 3km of river frontage is abundant with bird life and the endangered bald ibis is a common resident.

Our 29 rooms are tastefully furnished and recently renovated. Each room has an air-conditioner, TV with the full hospitality bouquet, an en suite bathroom and a cozy spot to relax on the veranda. Our grounds are safe and paved foot paths lead you to the numerous different locations.

Gooseberries, is our fully licensed a la carte restaurant. The menu changes periodically, keeping up to date with food trends and fresh produce available. We have an outdoor seating area for the balmy summer nights, where wonderful panorama views can be enjoyed. The indoor restaurant and lounge offer a relaxed atmosphere and a trendy a la carte menu.
